We bought this camcorder for our recent trip to Cancun. I have to say it isn't very user friendly. You cannot take still shots unless you have the mini sd card, which I still have been unable to find but the video works nicely using small dvds. Overall it may not be the best for people that find electronics a little complicated but if you have the time to sit and read the book from front to back it should come easy to you.
