I received this camera as a gift. I have had all of the disc error issues everyone else has mentioned. I offered to videotape a friend's wedding and received a disc error right before the "I Do's" and lost the entire thing. I've tried the recommended brand of DVD's and even other brands, just to have precious memories either lost or forever stuck on DVD's unplayable anywhere except for on the camcorder. Samsung should be ashamed to not have pulled this off the shelves immediately and refunded everyone's money. I'll not buy Samsung products ever again.Samsung SC-DX103 DVD Camcorder
